WELCOME:
The Australian and New Zealand Association for Research in Music Education (ANZARME).welcomes all researchers of music education, from beginning to experienced, to the 40th Conference. While we have created a conference theme, not everyone may wish to address it, and we will gratefully accept all submissions.
CALL FOR ABSTRACT SUBMISSIONS:
Please send abstracts of no more than 300 words and include your name and institutional affiliation (if any) by Monday, 30 July, 2018. The abstracts will be double peer-reviewed and notification with regards acceptance will be given by mid August at the latest. Earlier submissions will get an earlier response. Please send abstracts to: Dr Kay Hartwig (k.hartwig@griffith.edu.au). Presenters will have the opportunity to present their paper for 20 minutes. This will be followed by a 10 minute opportunity for questions from the floor.

NEW RESEARCH / RESEARCH IN PROGRESS
Participants, particularly beginning researchers and students undertaking research for the first time are invited to submit abstracts of research proposals for work in progress.
POST GRADUATE PRIZES
To encourage new researchers, ANZARME provides two Post Graduate Research prizes; the Doreen Bridges Prize, and the David Sell Prize. Both awards are for promising research presented at the conference to Post Graduate students undertaking investigations in the field of music education. The prizes are awarded on the recommendations of a panel of adjudicators who attend each presentation.
