Today is the last day of your ‘holiday.’ If you didn’t realise. I do hope that you all managed to have a break away from you usual workplace be it the classroom, lecture theatre, conductor’s podium or teaching studio. With only about 16 weeks till NCEA exams, there will no doubt be a flurry of activity focused on senior resources, along with teachers looking for help marking internal assessments.
So to pre-empt the question about how to access copyrighted material from past exams.
You need to logon (using your ESSA) on the NZQA website. http://www.nzqa.govt.nz/login
On the ‘open’ part of the NZQA website, there are exams there, but they have the scores blanked out in most cases. There are CDs there all the way back to 2011.
You need to ask your NZQA Principal’s nominee at your school and they fill out a piece of paper to request a unique login for you. It doesn’t take long in my experience. (And it’s better than your nominee looking it up for you)
Once you login in the top right of the NZQA Music page, there is a link to search for copyrighted material after you have logged in.
