SUMMARY:MENZA AGM 2023 & Taonga Puoro workshop (Auckland)
DESCRIPTION:Please join us for our AGM on Saturday 10 June\, which will also include a Taonga Puoro workshop with Ben Lau from 1.30-2.30pm\, at Kristin School\, 360 Albany Highway\, Albany. \nTaonga Puoro allows our akonga to focus on their hauora and mauri and allows them to make musical instruments in our classrooms. This workshop is for Primary and Secondary school teachers and we will focus on making Taonga Puoro\, Koauau and Purerehuia. \nZOOM link to AGM meeting\, 3-4pm\, Saturday 10 June 2023. \nSee you then – please RSVP to admin@menza.co.nz for catering purposes if you would like to attend the workshop and/or AGM. \nIf you are coming\, please meet outside the front of the Kristin School Junior School Admin building – Manawa Manaaki. You need to drive into Gate 1 (corner of Albany Highway & Rosedale Rd)\, follow the road around past the bus bay & the chapel. You’ll see Manawa Manaaki by the circular car drop off area. Parking is available in the middle of the drop-off zone right next to Manawa Manaaki. \n
