Designed especially for students from Years 5 to 9\, this engaging concert will spark curiosity\, inspire creativity and create long-lasting musical memories.\n\nThis year’s show features a very special collaboration with Massive Theatre Company\, combining theatre and music in a powerful live performance of Symphonic Legends. Created by composer Peter Scholes and renowned playwright Witi Ihimaera\, this unique Aotearoa work weaves together four mythical stories\, performed by a cast of actors and accompanied by a sweeping\, cinematic orchestral score.\n\nCommissioned especially for Auckland Philharmonia\, this year’s performances mark 30 years since the work’s premiere — a rare opportunity to experience a beautiful and significant New Zealand story brought back to the stage by two outstanding Auckland arts organisations.\n\nFREE tickets are available to select schools based on their Equity Index Number.
