DESCRIPTION:Christchurch’s Premier High School Jazz Band Competition\nJazzQuest is an annual competition showcasing the quality of some of the country’s top secondary school jazz bands and musicians. It offers young jazz musicians a chance to mix\, mingle with and challenge themselves against others from around New Zealand. Bands are awarded gold\, silver and bronze awards\, and individual musicians are presented awards for outstanding contributions on their instruments\, as well as for original compositions and arrangements. \nCategories: Combos\, ensembles and Big Bands. \n
