SUMMARY:TEACH LIKE IT'S MUSIC: RE-IGNITE THE MUSIC TEACHING FLAME
DESCRIPTION:Led by internationally-acclaimed music educator\, Doug Goodkin from San Fransisco\, USA.  This is his last trip to NZ so don’t miss out! \n  \nChildren are innately musical. If we learn to teach music musically we can cultivate\, shape\, nurture and develop their musicality for life. \nDoug’s workshops explore what makes a lesson feel musical so that process\, product\, performance and sense of community are fostered. \nWe will look at of how these musical activities can relate to other curriculum areas\, in particular\, integrating literacy and music. \nEarly childhood\, primary and secondary teachers will be inspired and up-skilled to start the new year! \n  \nBoth days will run 9:30am – 4pm \nCost:\n$50 a half day.\n$150 Early Bird before Dec 1st for both days (4 half days)! \n$35 per day – student rate. $70 for the whole 2 days (student rate). \nDoug Goodkin is the author of “Teach Like it’s Music” \n  \nRegister here\n
