DESCRIPTION:Entries are open for the 2021 Hook\, Line and Sing-a-long competition and close on March 28th at 11:59pm.\n\nThis is a collaboration between MENZA and the NZ Music Commission\, with generous prizes for individuals and schools provided through MusicWorks. Recent winning songs include “We Are One”\, “The Smell Of Sunscreen” and “Aotearoa\, nō te katoa” which have become staples in the NZ music education fabric for many schools.\n\n\nWrite an original song that reflects what it means to live in New Zealand!\nThis is a broad theme and could be about nature\, family\, cultural identity\, community\, favourite activities or a certain place.  Languages other than English are encouraged! \nCheck out the guidelines and more under the heading “Songwriter” at http://hooklineandsingalong.com/ \nThere are great prizes including a recording session at Roundhead Studios in Auckland\,  $500 MusicWorks voucher for the winners and the same again for the school.\nProudly brought to you by the NZ Music Commission\, MENZA and MusicWorks.
