DESCRIPTION:Lindo Francis Memorial Grant  information click HERE \nThe ONZA Marimba Festival will be conducted in Auckland\, Tauranga and Dunedin this year in term 3 and 4. Teachers whose students participate in these events will have the opportunity to attend inspiring professional development\, free of charge\, once per term\, to play through an exciting repertoire fully adaptable to suit their music curriculum goals. On the day of the festival itself\, hundreds of students rehearse and perform the set in a mass celebration of music education. \nIf you are interested in this exciting event\, you should contact Philippa Drake Auckland\, Jeremy Hantler Taurange or Ali Caldwell Dunedin. \nAs with recent events\, the Auckland Marimba Festival will take place in the ASB Stadium in Kohimarama. The 2020 date is Saturday\, 5th September.
