DESCRIPTION:Christchurch’s Premier High School Jazz Band Competition\nJazzQuest is an annual competition showcasing the quality of some of the country’s top secondary school jazz bands and musicians. It offers young jazz musicians a chance to mix\, mingle with and challenge themselves against others from around New Zealand. DESCRIPTION:This two day symposium is for all interested music educators in Aotearoa: tertiary educators\, PhD and Masters students\, teachers of music.\nIn 2020 the New Zealand branch of ANZARME (Australia New Zealand Association for Research in Music Education) hosted Mahi Tahi. This was a very successful and informal two days of presentations\, networking\, and discussion.
