SUMMARY:So you want to be a music therapist?
DESCRIPTION:Music Therapy week will take place on 15-21 November and as part of this event the Raukatauri Music Therapy Centre will be hosting an online presentation about music therapy\, specifically on becoming and working as a music therapist in New Zealand. Aimed at High school and university students (or musicians looking to retrain) this is a fantastic opportunity for your students to discover how they can use their passion for music to help others through a career as a Registered Music Therapist. This webinar will include video and photo examples of music therapy in action\, outline the process for training and registration in Aotearoa New Zealand\, as well as the opportunity to ask our team questions. \nWe would be really grateful if you were able to share this with students thinking about a career in music. They can register through our Facebook event or by emailing info@rmtc.org.nz.  We’ll send out confirmation of the webinar and how to access it nearer the time. Here is the flyer Raukatauri Intro to Music Therapy which you are welcome to share. \nThank you so much in advance for sharing this with your students\, and please do not hesitate to contact us should you require further information. \n  \n
