DESCRIPTION:PLD OPPORTUNITY: Lower Hutt\, Wellington: Music\, creative dance\, and ngā toi Māori (including whaiwāhi mauritau\, korikori tinana\, and waiata) – workshop for Primary Teachers\n\nWhen: Saturday 25th of March 9.30-3.30\n\nWhere: Eastern Hutt School\, Lower Hutt\n\nWhat: We have three key presenters working with material from the Poutokomanawa resources: Chase Across the Waves and Te Koha a Tāne plus some waiata based on whakataukī and whaiwahi mauri tau (ngā toi Māori mindfulness activities for the primary classroom).\n\nRawiri Hindle (korikori tinana/whaiwāhi mauritau mindfulness)\,\nSean O’Connor (simple waiata for primary children based on whakataukī)\,\nLiz Melchior (creative dance/movement\, creative artist in schools)\, and\n\n\nCost: There is no charge for this workshop as this is being supported by MENZA Networks of Expertise funding  However\, please secure a place by registering as places are limited.
