Musicnet Summary 29 April 2019

Kia ora tātou

Today is the start of Term 2 for many of you, and I do hope you managed to have a break somewhere over the holidays. I’ve had advice from busy HODs that you should carve out 50% of your holiday time for yourself. I know this is hard if you have a musical opening this week and you’ve had rehearsals every day of the holidays!

Over the holidays, the MENZA Committee for the upcoming Music’ 19 conference met, and we have been able to nearly halve the registration fee for the 3-day conference in October. The early-bird (1 July) is now $250. If you present a workshop, you get a further $50 discount.  All the details are found on www.menzaconference.co.nz. If you’re wanting to share accomodation, head on over the Facebook event. If you’ve not been for a few years, make 2019 the year you make it. (Especially if you’re in the South Island!)
