Musicnet Summary to 19 Feb 2021

Kia ora tātou

Entries are open now for the Hook-Line-And-Sing-A-Long competition. This is a collaboration between MENZA and the NZ Music Commission. There is a poster outlining the details of this great song-writing competition for your students.

This week the call also went out for articles for the Tune Me In Magazine. You might like to consider writing an article on any of the following:

  • Inspiring resources
  • Tips for teaching certain topics
  • Reviews of equipment/books or anything else that has helped you be a better music teacher, musician and/or composer
  • Advice you wish you could have given yourself as a beginning teacher
  • Initiatives around gender and cultural diversity in your environment
  • Or anything else you think other people will find interesting!
