The Christchurch Youth Jazz Orchestra
CYJO 2017
The Christchurch Youth Jazz Orchestra is an opportunity for auditioned under-20 local players to be in a prestigious big band led by top jazz tutors and other experienced guests.
We are pleased to announce that applications are now open to audition for the 2017 CYJO.
The band is for auditioned players aged under 20 years of age in the Christchurch area.

Applications close on 19 May 2017.
Scott Taitoko will lead the band along with top local jazz tutors and guests.
This year CYJO will be part of the Gala Concert for the Christchurch Big Band Festival in Labour Weekend as well as giving a public performance in September at the Doug Caldwell Concert Room at Ara Music Arts.
