‘Behind Bars’ Marimba plus with Clare McCormack

This workshop is designed to give teachers confidence and musical ideas for the Primary classroom using Orff Instruments, marimba, xylophones, voice, ukulele, percussion and hand chimes. Fun, practical session.
Clare McCormack is a music educator on the North Shore of Auckland teaching at Mairangi Bay School and in the community. She writes resources for teachers, including a resource ‘Behind Bars’ for Marimba. Clare is an experienced workshop facilitator having run workshops in Australia and New Zealand. Her main influences are the Orff Schulwerk and Kodaly methods of teaching.
