Hone your improvisation skills with some great tips and ideas from Scott and Gwyn
9.00-10.30 – Rhythm Section Workshop with Tim Driver, Michael Story and Michael Thompson
Examine the important role the rhythm section has in the band, share and discuss common problems that exist in the typical jazz ensemble setting and find solutions that can help your band improve its sound and groove!
10.15-12.15 – Youth Band Workshop with Rodger Fox
If you play a big band instrument and would love the opportunity to join with other young musicians in a big band setting come along and learn from the master of big band in NZ.
