The Wellington Branch of the Institute of Registered Music Teachers invites you to come along to a seminar given by Helen Willberg, who for many years has been involved in research into and promotion of early childhood music education in NZ.
During the seminar you will be invited to explore such questions as: how did our own passion for music originate? How can we ensure that this passion and interest is passed on to the next generation? How can we be involved with ensuring that all young children are being given the right kind of exposure to good music?
The seminar will be of great interest and highly relevant, not just to those involved with early childhood music education, but to instrumental teachers working with students of all ages and stages. So if you’re looking for ideas to help strengthen your students’ understanding of rhythm, pitch and other vital elements, then this will be the place to be!
