Music Education in Early Childhood

This workshop will explore the ways in which you can engage young children in meaningful music making. Songs, musical cues and other musical activities will be workshopped, leaving you with a range of take-home resources to use within your own context. Natasha and Anna will present ideas and activities that maintain student engagement, use the body and voice as the child’s main instrument, encourage improvisation, and nurture the innate musicality of all young children! Presented by OMEP, and led by founders of Preschool Music Dunedin Natasha Manowitz and Anna Davies.
