Orff Approach Level 1: Autumn course

Orff New Zealand Aotearoa is offering a 6-day Level 1 course in the Orff approach appropriate to the needs of both specialist and generalist teachers working in early childhood, primary, intermediate and lower secondary school settings

This course (see brochure), with an emphasis on hands-on interactive processes introduces the Orff approach which is characterised by the integration of speech, movement and music with a focus on improvisation. For enquiries about this course, contact Millie Locke, ONZA Levels Coordinator.

Taken as a stand-alone Level 1 course, successful completion of this workshop entitles participants to certification in Level 1 Orff Schulwerk.

Please note: ONZA offers a scholarship for this 6-day workshop when take as a stand-alone course. See link.

Alternatively the 6-day course is able to constitute a module contributing to the postgraduate paper at the University: ALED512: Music Education: Theory and Practice I.
