PLD OPPORTUNITY: Lower Hutt, Wellington: Music, creative dance, and ngā toi Māori (including whaiwāhi mauritau, korikori tinana, and waiata) – workshop for Primary Teachers

Where: Eastern Hutt School, Lower Hutt
What: We have three key presenters working with material from the Poutokomanawa resources: Chase Across the Waves and Te Koha a Tāne plus some waiata based on whakataukī and whaiwahi mauri tau (ngā toi Māori mindfulness activities for the primary classroom).
- Rawiri Hindle (korikori tinana/whaiwāhi mauritau mindfulness),
- Sean O’Connor (simple waiata for primary children based on whakataukī),
- Liz Melchior (creative dance/movement, creative artist in schools), and
