1000 students play ukuleles, marimbas and recorders with a live backing band and special guests. Register your groups early on http://strumstrikeblow.org to get access to the music early and to take advantage of the workshops leading up to it! Audience entry is $5 donation at the door.
The first part of the workshop will focus on children’s songs from around the world. Bring the whole family! In the second part, we will focus on songs from Madagascar. We welcome people of all ages and abilities. Lala is delightful, a wonderful singer with a wealth of knowledge to share.

The Music Outreach Principle focuses primarily on shared, social music-making as a means of promoting well-being, encouraging participation and developing musical skills and knowledge. Outreach Singing enables groups within schools and the wider community to share their music with others, encouraging on-going participation.
