This free concert invites everyone to share in the joy and fun of music!
A new event this year to acknowledge the variety of singing groups in our secondary schools. The idea is a simple rotation of performances by all singing groups in attendance and a massed sing to conclude. A proven formula in the Wairarapa!!

In this one-hour narrated concert, students connect with the orchestra in a fun and engaging way to learn more about music.
This is intended for senior primary and intermediate students but older and younger students also join us for a day of rehearsals and a concert to finish having practised music prior. We would love to welcome new schools to these and can assist in preparations so please be in touch.
Come and learn how to use language and speech as a starting point for singing, movement activities, rhythm games, and ideas for musical play that enable chil-dren to discover the many elements of music in natural and creative way.
